Mr Right and Responsible Rhino

We have been thinking about our rights. Every child in the world has the right to certain things. We have been using some special books to investiagte our rights...there are 54 of them!

If you would like to find out some more information you can go here:

At Maytree School, children learn about their rights and responsibilities from the characters Mr Right and Responsible Rhino. Using their example the children of each class have written their own charter of the rights they are entitled to in school, and the responsibilities they have.

Reception visit West Tytherley

In reception we have a link with West Tytherley Primary School in Salisbury. Last week we went to visit them. They are coming to visit us next week and we cannot wait to see our new friends again.

Their School is different to ours. Maytree is only an Infant School, teaching children from 3-7 years. At West Tytherley they teach children from 4-11 years.

We enjoyed playing on their computers.

We were excited by new role play areas!

We even made some new friends!
